Jonathan's American Grille/Glenside Restaurants
Hi Everyone!
I am thinking about taking my boyfriend out to dinner to Jonathan's American Grille for his birthday and I was wondering if anyone has eaten there before. Any recommendations or critiques would be greatly appreciated. It is located in Glenside at the Jenkintown train station (formerly Stazi Milano, which I loved). Also, any other Glenside recommendations would be great too! Thanks in advance!

went to jonathan's once and was very disappointed. i can go into detail if you like, but the bottom line is i wouldn't send anyone there.
how about the thai place on 611? i forget the name, but it's on the right if you're heading north from jenkintown, just south of the target.
or if you want to stay in glenside, athena is always good.

I have been there once last year and I recall it was pretty good, not spectacular, but pretty good. my only complaint is that it felt like a chain restaurant with its crowded spaces, busy servers, and long wait.
I always enjoy Athena in Glenside for some good greek food. If you are open to a short drive out of Glenside, that will greatly expand your options. There are tons of great restaurants in Ambler. There are also some decent options in some other nearby towns such as Willow Grove.

i moved to glenside this spring and posted asking the same question. Response was don't move their for the restaurants. So far that has held true. People really liked Myrna's but I went with my fiancee. Great ambiance, mediocre to bad food. Youmight just want to make the drive to Wegman's in Warrington and cook him up some great stuff you get there.
