Restaurant Week Suggestions
my sugesstion would be to skip RW all together. in years of cooking and eating in ny restaurants, i've found that for a budget price you get budget food and budget service. although there may be some exceptions, USHG restos for example, usually the staff (both front and back of house) are to busy and stressed to deliver a meal as good as they do the other 48 weeks of the year.
not to mention plenty of places do regular lunch deals that are in the same price range as RW with out the crunch for reservations or overworked cooks and waiters.
