My family is coming into town and I want to take them to a good, fun restaurant for restaurant week but I want it to be somewhere that is still going to be good food and a variety of food on the fixed menu. Any suggestions? Thanks!

well, what are the options this year?? depending on when it is, it may be more a matter of where you can still get reservations!

i'm so not on the ball these days...

my sugesstion would be to skip RW all together. in years of cooking and eating in ny restaurants, i've found that for a budget price you get budget food and budget service. although there may be some exceptions, USHG restos for example, usually the staff (both front and back of house) are to busy and stressed to deliver a meal as good as they do the other 48 weeks of the year.
not to mention plenty of places do regular lunch deals that are in the same price range as RW with out the crunch for reservations or overworked cooks and waiters.
