Hungry Hunter has closed

For those interested, Hungry Hunter in Thousand Oaks closed July 2nd. The landlord has other folks looking at the property now.

We ate there years ago, all had some kind of steak, very mediocre, I was only supprised they lasted so long, we were never tempted to go back.

I actually quite liked the clam chowder there, back when I lived in TO.

I'm actually very surprised any of them are still around. The company hasn't made money in a long time (years), and they go in and out of bankruptcy.

I remember when it was Texas Loosey's and the hostesses wore backless chaps. I think it was more profitable then.

The Hungry Hunter in T.O. had become kind of tired and shabby in it's last years. Although I did have a wonderful prime rib lunch there on my first day when I moved to Thousand Oaks.
It will be very, very interesting to see what goes in that space. Knowing Thousand Oaks it will probably be some chain, but we can all hope.
