Restaurants in Providence

Any ideas other than Al Forno's for great restaurants in Providence?

  1. There are plenty of "great" restaurants in Providence, as you can see by doing a search of this Board. It depends on what you're looking for. Many on this board (including me) wouldn't include Al Forno on the list, BTW.

Mill's Tavern, Gracie's, Epicureo, Siena, Local 121, La Laiterie, and Red Stripe would be a good start for the list. What were you looking for?

    1. I agree with winedude, Al Forno is not what it was 10 years ago... My Providence favorites are Mill's Tavern, L'Epicureo, Siena, and New Rivers..

Siena is good but I also like Prima located on Broadway and Waterman Grille.

      2. gracie's.

go for the tasting menu / wine pairing. i went a couple months ago, it was stellar. (and posted about it around that time).

        1. new rivers has closed due to fire. Local 121, La Laiterie, and Red Stripe make my list.
