Really? I visit Surfas and Sur la Table regularly, and I haven't seen any cazuelas. Where are the shelved in the stores? I checked on their websites, too. Nothing. I know that a website called latienda.com, which is based on the east coast, sells cazuelas. La Espanola Meats in Harbor City also sells them, and you can order them online.

I got mine from Surfas years back when they were still in their old location.

Not local to you, but The Spanish Table carries and ships them. Nice quality too.

Believe it or not, I got mine at Walmart. It was a 3 pack with sizes ranging from (I think) 8", 12" and 16". Very inexpensive (compared to what you would pay at Sur la Table). I think Walmart sells on line........if you need them sent to the east coast.

A great mail order source is La Tienda - http://www.tienda.com/table/cazuelas.....

I have the oval one, among others, and use it all the time - great even for roasting a chicken.

And La Tienda is on the east coast to begin with. Williamsburgh, VA. I was going to mention them too.

They are a great resource for Spanish food products as well - and very nice proprietors - I've actually been able to stop into the Williamsburg location several times.
