Anyone know where to buy M&M's by color in the area?

bubbles4me Jul 5, 2007 10:51 PM

My sister is getting married in August and is getting personalized M&M's for her favors but with as many as she needs it is getting spendy so she wanted to mix the personalized ones with blank ones of the same color. Is there a place to buy M&M's in bulk in specific colors? I've never seen it but I figured if there were one group to ask it would be you all!
Thanks in advance.

Try Garvey Fruit and Nut in Commerce. They sell to retailers and our open to the public. This place is the size of Costco and it's just candy. Totally crazy.

There is a party supply store in the same parking lot as the Costo in Los Feliz (sorry I don't remember the name). It is next door to the Wells Fargo there.

She should order blank ones from M&M.com when she places the order for the personalized ones. That way the colors will match exactly. I did personalized M&Ms for my daughter's bridal shower a few months ago - what a hit!!

I know Bert & Rocky's Ice Cream shop in Old town Claremont sells them -- one side of their wall is dedicated to M&Ms. They also sell other candies and homemade chocolate & fudge besides serving really good ice cream. They are towards the east side side of LA county (not sure what you meant by "in the area") but it might be worth checking out. While you're there, you can check out the Greek restaurant next door, the tapas place behind the bagel bakery across the street or Pizza & Such down the block.

The Jelly Bean Factory on Hollywood Way in Burbank sells individual M&Ms by color. Jelly Bellies, too.

Yes! There is a party store on La Cienega on the east side just south of the Beverly Center. (In fact I think it's called "Party On La Cienega"?) They've got a huge official M&M bin array with separated colors.

Yep - You can buy them on line. Or, to get in person, there's a candy shop at the Universal City Walk that has them. GTD! Been there, done that! And, I have also bought them at a candy shop next to Mrs. Knotts Chicken restaurant at KBF. (You do NOT have to pay park entrance to both shop or eat at Mrs. Knotts. Good Luck :)
