Food Crawl ideas in DFW

kindofabigdeal Jul 5, 2007 12:19 PM

I recently put together a "Pupusa Crawl" for a friend in Dallas and am looking for other ideas around here for such an event. Any good ideas?

I'd love to do a Mexican on Maple crawl...

    And/Or a ceviche crawl.

I like Pupusas. Is there a good Salvadorian restaurant in Dallas???

Ok, there's one. My mouse has just broken so I'm seriously hampered. There's a wealth of pupuserias on 1st in Garland. There's also a few East of downtown north of 30. There's one that looked particularly interesting near by Tennison Park along Garland road I believe. There's also a new one along the east side of 35 in an orange roofed building. Although I have only had pupusas at these places I would recommend the one I gave the address for at the top for more far reaching salvadoran fare. Most of the places are pretty basic, but they had a full menu and comfortable seating.

            Thank you, both of you!

BTW, I'd be interested in a Banh Mi crawl at Walnut/Jupiter in Garland.
