Pizza Fritta near Stamford, CT?

One of the things I miss most about living in SW Connecticut is Pizza Fritta (Fried dough topped with tomato sauce and parmigiana/romano cheese). Unfortunately, I have not been able to enjoy this treat for the past few years because none of my trips home coincided with the festivals where pizza fritta is usually served.

Are there any restaurants in the SW CT area that sell pizza fritta on a regular basis?

Since Clino's Pizza Pasta and Things in Port Chester has darned good garlic knots, perhaps they make pizza fritte as you describe? Or could, if you asked?

I've only ever had it with sugar.
