Stone oven sandwich in Topanga food court

Ok, I hate to say this about a food court sandwich place, but as far as homemade foccacia goes this is at the top of my list. This place has a baker in the front rolling bread and baking it to order, in a food court! Pretty ambitous I must say.

  1. It's not bad for a food court place. I like their salad with chicken, goat cheese and walnuts.

and the sushi bar in that food bar is awesome too as well as the Korean BBQ

Its the most amazing MALL food court I've ever experienced!

We were saying the exact same thing -- "...most amazing MALL food court..." just this past Sunday. The entire experience for lunch was very pleasant. We arrived just before lunch time, and the tables were spotless and the assistance was friendly. I took a couple of rolls from the sushi bar to our table...how pleasant our lunch! And had we wanted dessert, we would have had several choices. It is now a destination, rather than just a place to stop for a cold drink.

    2. There is also a Stone Oven in the food court of the Valencia Mall. I haven't had any of their sandwiches in at least a year and the menu has changed but the sandwiches were pretty tasty when I had them with a side Caesar Salad. One of my lads aka BreadBoy likes the freshly baked Foccacia by itself which is available with a dipping sauce.

      1. this place is so good! I LOVE their chipotle chicken sandwich? I forgot what its called but its the one with the chicken, corn salsa, avocado, etc. SO good, especially with that fresh baked foccacia bread!

I totaly agree with you on that sandwich, its called spicy chicken sandwich, I just tried the BBQ Chicken yesterday with onion crisps and bacon, super good.

        2. I had their chicken with bacon and cheese sandwich, I don't know what it's called, a couple months back and have been craving it ever since. It really is the fresh baked bread that makes it... and the chili oil they slather on the foccacia when it comes out of the stone oven. I tried to google it for a website and I could find none.

I wish I made it to the West Valley more often.

Oh yes the BBQ Chicken sandwich, and I think the oil on the bread is sundried tomato oil.
