Crepes in Scottsdale

  • 6

Any time I take a vacation in Canada, I always eat at several incredibly delicious crepe restaurants for any meal of the day. When I return, I tend to crave them but have no idea where I can find some well-made crepe dishes around Scottsdale.

Anyone have any suggestions?

  1. I have never been myself, but there is a place called Crepes & Bakes in Scottsdale in the Seville plaza at 7001 North Scottsdale Road (Indian Bend and Scottsdale Road). They are open Tuesday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Closed on Mondays.

I wish I could give you personal experience on their crepes, but maybe others have been and can chime in.

I have been to Crepes and Bakes it is wonderful! The owner is Bosnian I believe and imigrated through Canada and then landed here in Scottsdale. She was in the corporate world long before opening Crepes and Bakes. Their Baklava is wonderful as well as their rum cookies! Savory or Sweet you can't go wrong with their crepes, enjoy.

Thanks for the responses. I've noticed Crepes & Bakes before, but have never tried it, and it never comes to mind until someone reminds me it's there. I'll have to give it a shot.

        Any more suggestions?

      2. IHOP has crepes. The Swedish rendition is especially tasty.

        1. I have been to crepes and bakes once, and I thought the menu was kind of limited. I remember the crepes being good but there was nothing there making me want to go back to the place, and I am a HUGE crepe person.

La Madeleine used to have crepes, but unfortunately all of the locations closed in the valley. =/

The Original Pancake house has pretty good crepes, although it is a breakfast chain. The french crepes are delicious and come with strawberries and whip cream. If you like savory, the spinach crepes are quite amazing with a creamy mushroom sauce.

There is also a gelato place in Chandler that serves crepes and Italian coffee. I've had the crepes, and they are pretty good although the selection is limited.

There is a new place in Ahwatukee that I have not tried, but I know they serve crepes. It's called la vigne, and so far I've heard mixed reviews. I went to the movies next door, and it was totally empty in there. I'm not sure it will survive?

Crackers and Company also has crepes, although again they are breakfast crepes. They call them Euro crepes, and I always get mine with strawberries. They are yummy.

          1. Had a late breakfast at LGO this morning and my gf ordered Mia's French Pancakes w/honey, fruit and crème frâiche. Maybe a little thicker than some crepes I've had, but they were very light tasty. They don't ofter a savory version, unfortunately, as I'm partial to savory crepes, but I'd recommend checking them out.
