this stems from an earlier thread about ottawa vs toronto.

i have always felt the french baker has the best chocolate croissants - rich, buttery pastry with real chocolate in the centre. i know the french baker supplies many of the coffee houses and cafes (planet coffee, bridgehead to name a few).

where else can i find a really good version? i am no so keen on boko bakery.

I stand behind the French Baker rec - nothing else compares, in my view. That said, Farm Boy has some brought in from Premiere Moisson in Montreal, and they're OK.
