Hanyang Supermarkets

  • 7

My husband was given gift certificates for Hanyang Supermarket by his company. My husband used to live in Woodside, and if I remember correctly, I think there is a Hanyang Supermarket on Roosevelt Ave where it meets with Queens Blvd. Can anyone please tell me if this is correct and also any other locations of these stores in Queens? Although we live in NJ, we will be in Flushing next weekend and would love to take advantage of some Korean food shopping using these certificates.

Thanks so much for any help you can offer!

  1. Go to the flagship HanYang market in Flushing on Northern and 141st(?). I enjoy shopping there when I have a chance.

that one's great, but i think the one on union in flushing is even better. cleaner, better produce, better seafood, better meat.

where is there a han yang on union street? i can't seem to picture it in my head, unless you are talking about han ah reum.

the han yang on northern blvd & murray street is definitely your best bet.

oops. you're right. i'm thinking of the han ah reum on union, which is great.

yes, that han ah reum is a good one. i think the best out of the bunch - even better than the huge h-mart on northern blvd in that shopping center. i like the little eatery - i like to eat guk-soo (korean noodle) there.

      2. I believe there's also a Hanyang in Bergenfield, NJ, in Foster Village, if you live in Northern Jersey.
