  1. Both Vallarta and Jon's Market carry them.

    1. Linda Rosa market, driveway/entrance just east of Allen on Villa (n/ecorner of Villa and Allen). Parking and entrance to market are at the back. open til 8 p.m.

My favorite for carne asada and pollo preparada.

        2. And, if you're ever in the South Bay, Penzeys Spices has them -- just TRY to buy one thing there.

          1. The Badia brand of "Annato Seed Achiote" is almost ubiquituous..

Elizabeth Market on Foothill near Rosemead too. Good marinated carne asada & more.

            2. King Ranch at Huntington Drive and Magnolia in Monrovia has them under the Mexican name of Achiote seeds.

              1. ARGENTINIAN MARKET
                1272 E VILLA PASADENA CA 91106

although not very argentinian at all. the pre-marinated carne asada is some of the best in the SGV. i also buy my fat back there.

                1. Most Filipino markets carry them. Sunset around Vermont has a few markets. They are also labeled as Achote.
