Lamb on the Grill- what else??
Bought three butterflied legs of lamb, and some lamb ribs. The legs are marinating in lots of garlic, olive oil, lemon and the first rosemary from my garden. I know they will be delicious. I think I will just season the ribs with some S/P before grilling. At a loss of what to serve as side dishes. I know I will have a salad, but looking for a differnt starch. I have potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes and couscous in stock. DOn't want to go to the store today- anybody have some good ideas? TIA!

Macca, what about par-cooking the sweet potatoes and then brushing them with a pomegranate molasses (if you have it) and finish cooking them on the grill? Or make a glaze out of reducing some pomegranate juice to a syrupy goodness if you don't have the molasses.
Or make the couscous and add finely diced sweet potatoes and other veggies you might have for a vegetable confetti couscous.

No pomegranate molasses. the vegatable confettis couscous may work. And Judiths suggestion of a green vegatable with tomatoes sounds good. I have spinach and mushrooms and tomatoes. That may be tasty with some scallions over the couscous. Thanks for the ideas. It is so nice to get ideas- sometimes I fall into a rut. Thanks again.
