Zin Chi (Nick's Grill)

Zin Chi opened in Studio City last December, but we just got around to trying it tonight. The owner (Nick) is changing the name next week which I think is a good idea. He said he is tired of explaining why he doesn't have sushi with a name like Zin Chi. The food is kind of an Asian/American fusion. The food is good! The owner is very nice. The restaurant's decor is lovely.

My husband had an Angus burger with fries - maybe a little expensive at $16 but he really liked it. I had a declicious Parmesan chicken chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries with just a hint of curry on it. We both said we would order what we got again.

The name changes to Nick's Grill next week. We got to see the new menu which is more interesting than the current one, and the prices look lower. Interesting sounding appetizers, salads, entrees, more sandwich choices. I want to try the crab melt.

New menu has Chilean sea bass with wasabi-soy, grillled lamb chops with mashed
potatoes, and many other things. I think there is something for everyone here.

There's a Late Night menu from 9:30 to midnight (past my bedtime but I'm sure others will be interested) with satays, sandwiches, dumplings, calamari, quesadilla, and more.

We are going back next!
