Brisket in Portland

Where can we find a good brisket sandwich in Portland?

There is only one truly excellent source for BBQ brisket in Portland: Podnah's. Quality is much better at dinner on the brisket. Second best is actually a stand only available occasionally on Saturdays with a sign "Delicious Texas Pit BBQ" near Thai Roses on Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy. Quality drops in a hurry after this.

Funny you should ask---I just finished an excellent brisket sandwich from New Seasons in North Portland. No barbecue sauce or anything--just tasty beef with a little horseradish sauce.

Russell St BBQ has really good brisket, and they might make sandwiches. It's a fun place worth trying!
