White Rock

A Las Vegas chowhound will be in White Rock for a summer respite in the middle of July. Are there any "can't miss" places, particularly with some real local character and/or flavour?

Dont' know if it's a can't miss but we had a really lovely evening at Cielo awhile back.

My husband and I have eaten Pearl a couple of times and really enjoyed it. I don't know if it's a 'can't miss' place but it does have an interesting menu featuring mostly local seafood and it is nicely situated along Marine Drive. If you google 'pearl white rock', the restaurant's website will pop up, as well as some reviews from the dine here website. My favourite spots are the tables at the very front of the restaurant which are open to the patio when the weather is nice.
