Help! Cape Cod w/Kids & a Vegan

Baltimomma Jun 29, 2007 07:49 AM

I think I posted this question too late at night yesterday and it got buried by today's new posts. Sorry. I'm looking for suggestions for a week of dining on the Cape in and around Dennisport in July. I have 2 kids, 5 & 2, and my companion is a Vegan. She's happy to accomodate to restaurants which serve omnivores as long as she can find something on the menu. My two bumptious boys make most elegant dining opportunities a stretch, but they are accustomed to restaurant meals. We may journey to P-town for a day and are also willing to travel some for good meals. Ary there any veggie restaurants on the Cape or any that would have good meals that can be accommodated to Vegan tastes? Thanks for all help in advance.

Here's a link which may help. http://capecodvegetarians.org/dining.htm It lists a few places that serve vegitarian as well as vegan dishes. Choices are limited but a few may be what you're looking for. One spot I like (as does my Vegan friend), is Inaho in Yarmouthport. Great Japanese and sushi for you, many noodle and veggie option such as tempura and stir fry for your companion. Enjoy your stay on the Cape!

Ditto on Inaho. It is terrific. P'Town will have lots of options for all of you, too. Have fun!
