I went once last year, soon after it opened. Thought the decor was fabulous, a lovely, upscale addition to Danforth. The food was good, but I haven't been since. They were doing inventive things like goat cheese foam, but it didn't really work for me. I'll stick to tried and true.

Appertizers are very nice there, love the Trout tartare with blinis as the blinis smells very good, a good match with the tartare !
Duck is so-so, too rich with the risotto, but the cod is very well-cooked.
Shoofly cake, which tastes like a carrot cake, do not really like it.
Overall, good food, good atmosphere, good service, good value ! Recommend !›3 Replies-

re: pearlD
The meal was terrific, particularly mine which was the Cod, my husband had the Beef topped with foie gras (he raved about it) The person who had invited us had the Chicken and also enjoyed hers very much. I felt letdown in the dessert area..I had the 'sho fly cake' which was boring and we also had the Lemon Tart (which may have been a leftover, the filling quite 'solid' but the taste was fabulous! I would certainly go back without a doubt! One thing I appreciated was that the waiter did not go overboard 'selling' either the Meal or the Wine..My husband is a non drinker, prefers carbonated water to alcohol and my friend and I each had a glass of a very nice summer Rose. The service was excellent and the waiter was well informed about the various menu choices but not 'pushy'. A return visit for certain!
