Daisy May BBQ commercial in NYC

Has anyone else seen this ridonkulous spot on YES with the girl from Queens doing a southern accent?

  1. Silverjay, this commercial is truly hysterical, and the first time I caught it, I thought, "What the heck...?" Maybe they're trying to go for a "aren't we so down-to-earth, no-pretension, stick-to-your-ribs kind of joint," but it's really cheesy and makes me think they made the commercial for less than $20. The quality is like 70s porn movies.

It's on CNBC all the time ... I don't know what's a worse commercial, the Daisy May or the 777-7777 car service (taxi! taxi!!!). The gal's quite a heifer.

As long as my breakfast isn't met by the guy who received a tracheomotry (sp?) for throat cancer - I'm happy. Local NY commercials are the best.

    2. Ok, saw it again today. This commercial really blows my mind. Worst theme song ever. And what's with the Swedish girl licking her fingers with 3-inch fingernails?

      1. Unfortunately I just caught this commercial on MSNBC. It was so hideous I had to look it up on the internet to see what other people were saying.

Skankiest thing I have ever laid eyes on.
