Beef tendons with ramen at Aljisen

red dragon Jun 28, 2007 01:28 PM

I've read a few posts that Aljisen is not the best place for Japanese ramen, however, I love the taste of the beef tendons served with the ramen at Aljisen.

Does anyone have a recipe for the beef tendon? I did a google search, but only came up with Chinese tendon recipes.

TIA!

Maybe you should ask on the Home Cooking board. The Japanese term for beef tendon is Gyu Suji.

As I believe the owners of Ajisen are Chinese, is it possible that the version they serve is actually not Japanese but Chinese?

Ajisen is a Japanese chain noodle house and as such the recipes are all Japanese in origin.
