Does anyone know where to find the best poached eggs dish in Boston? I am thinking of the kind of dishes that "Pastis" and "Balthazar" in Manhattan are serving with creamy spinach or creamy polenta or sauce bordelaise, etc. I have tried the Petit Robert on Kenmore - their eggs Benedict with spinach are nice, but far from what I was looking for. Does anybody hava a good recommendation?

My favorite is the poached eggs on roast beef hash served at lunch at Locke-Ober. That's kind of a splurge, but you get a lot of atmosphere and service with it.

It might not qualify as the kind of "featuring poached eggs" dish that you're looking for, but I've always liked the romaine hearts salad at casablanca with a poached egg on it. It's very simple (lettuce, egg, olives, toast, lots of butter), but every time I've gotten it, it's been comforting and well executed.
