I Need to Find a Decent Chip Shop!!!

santoku71 Jun 27, 2007 08:06 PM

I am addicted to Fish and Chips but it's so hard to find a good chip shop. I'm in Etobicoke at The West Mall and Bloor. Any suggestions? Will travel for excellent fish and chips! Anything other than Chippy's please.

Have you tried McNie's on Burnhamthorpe and Martin Grove? They used to be good, although it has been quite a while since my last visit. They even had haggis. Not sure whether they are even still there.

Closed. Didn't he open one in Don Mills, Hight Street or something?

There's one on Bloor St W, just east of Royal York.

I think you mean Kingsway Fish and Chips. Great spot. Ambience is a bit blue haired, but fun. I'm not a huge fan of the tartar sauce, but the fish is good!
