Homemade Biscuits & Gravy and Sloppy Joes

Does anyone have any good suggestions of places for really good homemade biscuits and gravy? Plus a good place for sloppy joes?
I'm looking for something in the North/Northwest area (Lincoln Park, Roscoe, northbounds toward Skokie, Evanston, Glenview)...
If it's really good, I'm willing to travel!
Thanks for any suggestions!
Oh... Outdoor dining would be a plus too ... Nice weather, why let it go by sitting indoors?
:-)

I've never been, but there's a newish place in Highland Park which specializes in Sloppy Joe's.

As for biscuits and gravy? My favourite place for b&g is hardly convenient for you, but I'd recommend a visit nonetheless.

Thanks Erik! With a whole summer to explore, there's no place not convenient for good b&g.
