Restaurant Eve Recently?

Hi all,

The last posting for Restaurant Eve was in 2005 and I was wondering what it's like these days. I'm new to DC from the Bay Area and am trying to find some good eats here!

Thanks.

Are you sure you checked well? There are many current posts - from 2006 and 2007 /or at least tag ons from earlier ones. You might see them, if you check again.
BUT - I for one, vote that things probably havent changed much.
It is a perfectly legitimate restaurant with very good food and very good service and a lovely environment.
    Good Luck!

P.S. type Restaurant Eve into the open window at the top right of the screen and you will see all of the posts. They are not necessarily in chronological order.

We went to Restaurant Eve in February and the food was "knock your socks off" wonderful. The service is very nice and attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere is quiet, very comforting, and nicely appointed. In my estimation it is one of the best restaurants in Washington. We're going back again next month.

Eve is one of the top spots in the area. Most people will agree with that.

Even with Cathal Armstrong winning a Rammy Award, managing Eammon's, and re-opening The Majestic, there's been no decline in quality at Eve. Still some of the best food you can find in the area.

Y'all are making me re-think RE. I had a so-so experience once. I guess I should give it a second chance.
