Restaurants Nr. Hunter College

famccollough Jun 27, 2007 01:29 PM

Does anyone know of any good restaurants that are not expensive around Hunter College (68th St & Lex.) I am not picky. I go to Corrado (sp?) a lot, but I would like to get waited on. Thanks so much!

Sel & Poivre, on Lex, b/t 64th & 65th Sts., is a charming French bistro with very good food. Their prix-fixes are well-priced.

I went to this restaurant yesterday for the first time. It was lovely, warm, pleasant, well lit, decent wine list, very nice moderate prices and excellent new york strip au roquefort sauce! The maitre'd was annoying, but everything else was perfect!
