Good Cookies for Delivery

I need to send a bunch of chocolate chip cookies to someone in Marina del Rey. Any recommendations? In a perfect world, they should be warm when they are delivered. Quality and taste are more important, but it would be great if I could get all three.

  1. You could try the Pacific Cookie Company in Santa Cruz, Ca. Absolutely wonderful cookies, always fresh and they do ship. Never heard of a place that would serve them warm though.

Definitely Snookies! They delivered to me in Culver City once, which is not far from Marina Del Rey. Not sure if they can deliver them still warm, but they can deliver with a little ice bucket of cold milk, which is so cute and the perfect companion to their yummy cookies.

      2. Someone in my office had a basket of these sent by a client....there was an all chocolate that was as close to heaven as you can get!! Soft, chewy, not overly sweet but yet full of semi-sweet chocolate. Try them, you won't be dissapointed!

Second vote for Deluscious cookies. Simply heaven!!

I also recommend Delucious Cookies in Hollywood. On Highland. I am pretty sure they hand deliver them warm, and you can have them delivered with cold milk by Brougiere (sp?). They are excellent. I'd insert the link, but don't know how. 323.460,2370.

Hi, Bite Me. Highlight the web address by clicking on it: www... Then do a "Control C" to copy the web address of the site; then move to your post any which way and do a "Control V" to paste on the address. Add a space after the web address on your copy page and you're a'll never look back!

Wow! Thank you so much. I am going to try it right now.

There it is! But it doesn't show as a link that someone can click on. Did I miss a step.

                  1. re: Bite Me

                    You did it! It works!!!
For some reason, it does not show "blue" (as a link) on this site. But try it elsewhere -- in an email, for example, and be sure to space afterward, and you will see it as a link.

However, what you did -- YOU DID IT!

        2. Any discussion of cookies by mail needs to mention Fralinger's, on the Atlantic City boardwalk, for the best almond macaroons on earth, big and moist and chewy. But, getting back to your chocolate chip cookies, consider Hammon's, a black walnut source, which does black walnut chocolate chunk cookies. Both companies have a website. And if you order from Hammon's, also get some chocolate-covered black walnuts.

          1. As I answer every time somebody raises the question here: Snookies did well by me. I sent the milk & cookie package, which was a little different -- though totally appropriate* -- concept.

            * except for the lactose-intolerant, of course.
