NEED CREATIVE MENU HELP

I'm planning an evening party for my brother's birthday and am stuck trying to plan a menu and am looking for help. His favorite food is lox, bagels and cream cheese and Tastycake Jrs. I would like to plan a party for 20-25 using these foods but can't think of anything fun, different or unpredictable, much less sophisticated. Maybe tiny bagels with lox as appetizers, but those tiny bagels really aren't good. A few pastas as a main course?

We keep a kosher home so there couldn't be any meat products in this menu.

Any and all ideas very, very welcome.

Instead of using tiny bagels I would suggest using regular ones sliced and cut in to appetizer sized wedges. Dress the pieces with a cream cheese spread, a folded piece of thinly cut lox and a little fresh dill and arrange the pieces on your platter in the shape of the original bagel. You might want to use a toothpick to hold everything together and provide a handle for the guests.

There is a Kosher Board. Maybe you would find more help there.
