Spotted Pig wait times?

We're thinking of trying the spotted pig this thursday around 7. Anyone have any experience with the wait times here? I hear they can be in multiples of hours. Also we need a table for 5 or 6 people.

  1. I’ve been to the spotted pig on a few occasions where they told us the wait time would be upwards to 2 hours (and that was for a table for two). That being said, I firmly believe they employ the scare tactic of telling people the time is about twice as long as it really is going to be.

All that being said, the spotted pig is a little over hyped in my opinion and there are plenty of other good spots where you don’t have to wait hours for a table.

    1. At Seven on a Thursday, means you will be looking at least an hour or two. The issue being that they only have a few tables that can handle you. However, they are pretty understanding and will take your cell # and call you when your table is ready. This will at least allow you to go have some drinks in the hood, while you wait.

      1. I went in late may as a group of 6. We arrived at approximately 7 and waited for about half hour or so for our table upstairs. Just enough time to finish a beer at the bar. The food is definitely worth the wait, IMO.
