Food in Lowell/Dracut

Hi everybody. I am buying a house in Dracut and I'm wondering what restaurants are worth trying in the area. I'm looking for take out as well as sit down. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  1. Scola's

Also, Arthur's Boot Mill Diner on Bridge St. in Lowell used to make the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Does anyone know if they're still open???

    1. Not a restaurant but I'm hoping to check this place out:

They still sell their own milk in glass bottles, the chocolate is the best.

Awesome awesome ice cream and I think they make pies too, egg nog during holidays too.

        2. I love Lowell and Dracut for Rest. selections:

Blue Angus Cafe in Dracut - awesome burgers
Cindy Anns House of Ham in Dracut - fabulous breakfast (excellent eggs benedict)
Ricardo's Cafe Trattoria in Lowell - best North end Italian, best best best
South East Asian - could go every week (best Vietnamese, Thai, Laotion, Bermese, Cambodian)
Pho 88 in Lowell - Awesome vietnamese
Sakura in Chelmsford - excellent sushi
Good Thymes (gorham st. lowell) - all around excellent fresh food, good prices, seafood, prime rib, excellent service

          1. I'd _absolutely_ recommend getting Southeast Asian cuisine in Lowell; you won't find
better SE Asian food in..maybe in all the US than in Lowell! I tend to favor Red Rose
(716 Middlesex St, Lowell) for Cambodian. Note that most of these restaurant tend to
close early-ish, maybe around 8pm. And recently, for Laotian, went to Phien's Kitchen
and had a great fresh lunch.

Hm..also here is a short thread:
