Looking for a restaurant in New Canaan for dinner tonight. Not too pricey, somewhat casual. I've already eaten at Thali, Ching's Table, Gates and Cava. Looking for some new suggestions. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Sole Ristaurante is very good. I'm not sure how pricey is "pricey". I've gone and had the calamari and a big salad and been perfectly satisfied.

Not too pricey is tough in NC. Entrees will be mid-20's at all the places (excep chings, sushi 25, chez louis, tequila mockingbird) . Given the weather at 90 degrees, outside is the way to go this evening:

Aloi - Chef trained with Piero Luongo. The best bolognese in the area and sitting outside is nice because of location.
Savvy - not jfood's favorite but the outside terrace is OK. Location is not as good as Aloi for sidewalk seating

Both of these will have prices: Apps in the low to mid teens and entrees in the mid 20's with some exceptions.

In any event wonder up Forrest Street for some great post dinner Gelato.
