Beef Wellington? Anywhere near Hollywood?

I did a Chowhound search, and Dereck's was the only place that kept coming up.

They do NOT have it on their current menu.

Any ideas? I'm hungry for it Wednesday night...

Very funny! But I think they burned all of them!

    2. Didn't Cat & Fiddle have it as a special?

Fleming's Steakhouse in Woodland Hills and the O.C. both have their own version which is pretty terrific. Nowhere near Hollywood, but worth the trip~

      2. The Madison in Long Beach has an amazing Beef Wellington. Again, not near Hollywood, but this one's definitely worth the drive.

        1. don't know if you have a way to get in, but the magic castle in hollywood had it on their menu.

Is that Palomino in Westwood Village? And if so is their B. Welly a special do you know? I don't recall seeing it on their menu before.

Must've been... I just remember my best friend ordering it at his brother's high school graduation dinner... I dont' see it it on their menu now... weird.

Thanks for the reply Emme. So many places will offer this dish as a special, but not as a regular menu item. I do recall that the Velvet Turtle was one place that always had it as a regular item along with their "Duchess" potatoes and a little boat of bordelaise (sp?) gravy/sauce. It was quite good.

I'd call and request it!! The worst thing they can say is no...
