For something super casual you could try Pinchers Crab Shack, pincherscrabshack.com. The seafood is always fresh and the kiddies can have fun drawing on the table. A few standouts are the peel and eat shrimp which are always fresh, the blackened yellowfin tuna done better than anywhere else I've tried, and the green beans are wonderful and prepared simply and fresh daily. One of the few seafood joints you can go to and have a truly healthy and satisfying meal.

Hungry Heron is lots of fun for lunch. We like their fried fish sandwich. Has an extensive menu, with items for all tastes.

The Lazy Flamingo at Blind Pass (north Sanibel) is a local fave.
