Has anyone eaten at the "Chef's Table" at Myth? Was it great or are we better off just booking a regular table for 8? Thanks!

We've sat at the 'Owner's Table several times, table #14 I believe. Now, I don't know if that's the same as the chef's table. However, if it is, it's really only a 2-top table so it would be tough for 8 to sit there. As good as Myth is, any table would be just fine.

You need to know that the Chef's table only sits (8). Your can order 4, 5 or 6 courses in advance from the chef (Sean O'Brien)just specific on the courses that you would like, and he will make your evening an experience that you will remember for along time.I had the 5 course and cannot wait to go back.

I adore Myth, - both the food and the atmosphere and don't think you can go wrong with any table there. I have seen the table that is just off the kitchen which is separated from the rest of the room by a soft wall. It appears to seat 8 - 12 people and would be perfect for a group your size to sit comfortably and still be able to be a part of the room as a whole.

As an aside, both the Risotto and the Seared Scallops are really yummy.

I have reservations for this "chef's table" but would love to be able to order off the menu for our group, but if you have 10 or more, you are stuck with the pre-fixe menu. Any thoughts on how to get around this? I have exactly 10 in my party.

I'd call the restaurant and speak with the manager...though you'll probably get better excecuted food and service going with the pre-fixe, which is why they have that policy.
