        <content>Am doing vin santo with cantuccini for dessert. Any specific vin santos that I should look for? I know nothing about the "dessert" wine category.</content>

      <content>Monsanto (not the herbicide maker! -- the winery in Tuscany) makes a very good one. The best is Avigonesi, but it's pricey and considered a desecration to dip biscotti/cantucci into *it*. Though I am a huge fan of the combo, after having had the A. Vin Santo a few times, I'm in agreement. I had a marvelous visit there -- the vineyards, the estate are works of art -- and the aging room for the vin santo is a dusty inhale of sleeping history in progress.
