Finally got to dinner at Chef Hannes in El Segundo. (http://www.chefhannes.com/

It is a smaller restaurant, tables with white table clothes, and great service.

We had the Chicken Toscana with Broccoli, and a special of Seared Scallops. Both were excellent!!!

Too, we took a bottle of wine and there was a $15 corkage, but that seems to be more typical as of late.

I highly recommend this place!!

The restaurant front is small and unassuming from the street. I had lunch there a few months ago and had trouble finding it even with the address. That said, I had a nice seafood pasta dish, well executed, nice portioned and reasonably priced.

It is my understanding that Chef Hannes has no corkage fee on Mondays and Tuesdays.
