Vanilla Ice Cream-Mpls

I posted a while back on this topic, but must make a special note about Sibby's
organic vanilla ice cream- made in Wisconsin, sold at not too many places now.I
think Whole Foods may carry it. They only make choc and vanilla. I got mine at
Fresh & Natural in Plymouth. It is incredible, no gums used, super velvety in your mouth,
a beautiful bright vanilla taste, and somehow it has half the fat of other premium ice creams.
They do use some organic milk powder that may make for a smoother texture. I do love
the less smooth old-fashioned ice creams that I remember from childhood, and abhor the
thickeners and gums that are so common now. But somehow this Sibby's stuff unites
the best of my soft-serve memories with a great organic ice cream.
