I was there pretty recently, and it was still great. Anything with red meat there makes me very happy.

the duck with foie gras rice was amazing. the beef saltado was good - but i would be more adventerous and get the duck or something along those lines.

The ceviches are terrific and the mussels are great. I usually order the Ceviche mixto and just a fish ceviche with the creamy rocoto. No one else in the City does quite like Limon.

I was there three years ago and did not like it, I loved it before hand. if you go please report back. I am a big cerviche fan and was thinking to go for that..

Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone. I did head out on Sunday and I have to say that I had a great experience. First off, the service was very attentive and friendly.
We sat upstairs which was why it was a little bit quieter. We ordered the cerviche mix which included 4 kinds of cerviche. I thought that it was good but not great. The halibut and the octupus tasted fresh, but the shrimp was a bit under the fresh side.As per the other reviews, the cerviche con crema was better then the others. I think its because the lime juice can be overpowering. The chicarron de pollo (marinated chicken, fried and served with salsa criolla and lemon vinaigrette). was very flavorful and well prepared. I would highly recommend that dish at Limon.I had the arroz con mariscos (seafood with saffron rice) which were very good. If anybody goes to Limon, please order the bandido (chocolate cake with cherry port reduction sauce) for dessert. It was fresh made, warm, and very sinful. Very satisfying. I was pleasantly suprised that I enjoyed it here. My experience two years ago when I ordered the lomo saltodo and calamares fritos wasn't great. I suggest that if you go to Limon explore the seafood dishes more and don't forget dessert!
