Jasco in Polanco

Anyone know anything about this restaurant? Good, bad, indifferent? It's owned by Chef Jared Reardon and Soñia Arias.
I also have been trying to find out about Jasco because I am to go there in July after wrapping up a trip to Diana Kennedy's. By any chance are you going on the same trip??
I never have posted on this board but couldn't resist when I saw your topic. I hope someone knows about Jasco because I'd like to know something about it beforehand.
First week for me too!!! It's a small world, isn't it? I arrrive in DF on July 14 at 7:30pm on American.
Still no responses on your original question about the restaurant. But I see that in the email from Marilyn it is spelled JASO. If Diana recommends it, it must be good, right?
Wow, it is a small world. But this kind of thing happens to me on Marilyn's trips :-). Several years ago I did one of her CIA trips to Oaxaca. The was a couple on that trip in which the husband had gone to the same high school as I had, at about the same time, and whose parents lived 6 doors away from my parents. Essentially, we grew up as neighbors but had to go to Mexico to meet. They will be on this trip as well.
You're right it's Jaso, which appears to be a combination of the first names of the exec. chef and pastry chef. I think it's more likely that Marilyn heard about this place from Ricardo Muñoz or Ana Elena than from Diana Kennedy. From what I understand DK isn't exactly a fan of contemporary Mexican ;-). I am so looking forward to this trip. I've taken a class with Diana before here in the States. I think 3 days at her house in Zitacuaro are going to be amazing!!
