I am a sake novice. I need to get a hold of some decent sake, pretty soon.

Any recommendations ?

      <content>One of my favorites is  Manyou No Koubai "10000 Apricot Blossoms".
Its really nice.
I prefer cold filtered sake although an occasional unfiltered like Tozai Nigori "Sake Voices In The Mist" is pretty good too.

      <content>My favorite is Onigoroshi (at least that's my best recollection of spelling. It is a Daigingo (made from heavily milled rice)  sake and has nice floral notes. </content>
