Wedding Cakes and Caterer's in Southeast MA, RI
I have a while to plan (I only just got engaged, and plan on having the celebration in a year or two), but I wanted to start gathering ideas for my wedding. I am looking for a place that offers good cakes, preferably ones that can be non-dairy. I'm quite a foodie, but I'm also extremely lactose intolerant. Any ideas?
Also, I am looking for a good caterer for the event. They do not have to be vegan, but I would like them to have decent vegan options since I know that some of my guests will prefer that. I'm thinking that if we can have good chicken, fish, and vegetarian options that it will be best.
Currently I live in Manhattan, but I will be having the event in Southeast MA (Dartmouth area) or RI because that is where most of both our families and friends live.

Did you end up finding any good catering or cake leads? I'm also planning my wedding in the Dartmouth area, but while living in Amsterdam, so it's all about the internet and recommendations. My fiancee is also lactose intolerant so we're on the hunt for a delicious dairy-free cake. I'd love to hear any of your experiences with this.Thanks and congrats on your wedding! Sin in Providence makes a vegan chocolate cake (no milk, no eggs, no sour cream, no butter). AND, her cakes are beautiful/elegant/funky/whatever you desire!

Nancy's Fancies in Providence makes dairy-free cakes. Can't say I've ever tried one, but apparently they offer them.

Not sure about non-dairy options, but Scialo Brothers makes a mean wedding cake.
