CHERRY CHIP COOKIE RECIPE -HELP
My grandma used to make these cherry chip cookies when I was little. Since her passing, we cannot find the recipe ANYWHERE (at least we found the hamball recipe!) but, does anyone out there have an idea where I can find this recipe?
This does not contain REAL chopped cherries. This recipe is more like a shortbread cookie recipe (I swear it was sweet and crunchy and I swear there were cornflakes in it), but it used those mini artificially flavored cherry chips.
If you know of this or something like it -please let me know. I miss having these!

could this be it? hope so! -
Could it be these? They have oatmeal in them (as a variation, you can make them without), but sound close to what you're looking for.

re: QueenB
Queen B - thanks for the tip -but that isn't it. It's one of those recipes where you will know it when you see it -I know there were cornflakes in them, I know it tasted like a shortbread, and I know there were mini-cherry chips! Since I'm a cook not a baker (no patience for measuring) I don't have the time to sit and try and create the recipe -but we'll keep crossing our fingers! I appreciate your try though
