Hi Everyone!

I'd appreciate any advice on where to get good baked mochi and/or mochiko for making my own mochi in SF.

I usually just go to Clement and 6th, but I'm pressed for time and have to get it this weekend...don't want to be chasing my tail all weekend!

THANK YOU!

There is a little cafe in Japantown that sells baked mochi. I can't seem to recall the name now, but if you do a google search for "Mochi San Francisco Japantown" I'm sure you will find the place. As for mochiko you can find that in any grocery store under the Blue Star brand (white box with a blue star in the center). They will even have it at Albertson's and Safeway under the Asian aisle.
