Who do you think are the great up-and-coming chefs of nyc right now?
That is a pretty vague question! There are so many amazing young chefs in trendy restaurants scattered throughout the city... what genre of food did you have in mind?
vagueries aside, Daniel Humm at 11 Mad. Pk is the flavor of the moment....tradition meets foam...excellent!
(Gee, ali990. Instead of criticizing a post, at least TRY and answer. And BTW, what's vague about "up and coming"? There really aren't hundreds of great "up and coming" chefs to choose from...)
Harold Dieterle of Top Chef fame opened up Perilla and it was very good, IMHO.
