Pretty sure the place is not kosher (It appears they serve sausage), but maybe they have a hashgacha on the bagels themselves (like Hot & Crusty).

        it is 100% kosher
The are completly dairy. The have soy sausage, bacon etc.
There is a place to wash and I just saw a rabbi there.

I don't know who their hashgachah is
They are open 24 hours-- closed 3 hours before shabbos and open 1 hour after shabbos is over

212 486 6604 is not the correct number -- jordana, any chance you want to repost?

According to menupages, their gramercy location phone number is 212-780-2308.

I also had a positive and friendly experience there and I had been pining for a dairy option. But I fear for its survival - I can think of no kosher 24 hr. shop in town and I am doubtful that this neighborhood can sustain one.

I hope it does well. I live very close to it and there really are no other bagel/salad /coffee places around, kosher or not kosher. Also there is nothing that is open past 1030 either. I think with time it will fill that niche.
The food is top notch and they serve illy coffee which is a big draw.

I certainly also hope that it does well. I am trying to do my part - I had a second lunch there and I emailed people I know who work in the neighborhood. I am also planning to drink lots of coffee there while munching on toasted sandwiches. I would not, however, recommend the croissants, which proved to be crescent-shaped rolls.

I asked if they had tofu spreads for the bagels but was told by one of the owners that all their cream cheese is cholov yisrael. This didn't answer my question. I forgot to ask them if they are closed Shabbos.

The countermen when I was there didn't seem that experienced. For example, after I paid, they forgot to hand me the food. Since I was the only customer at 6:50 AM, they couldn't have been that flustered.

They are closed on shabbos. As to the cream cheese non sequitur, perhaps it is attributable to a language issue.

I asked about creamcheese and they said they will get tofu cream cheese soon. They are just looking for one thats cholove yisrael.

The bulletin is online at www.ckj.org. I have stopped by a couple of times and will continue to support it, especially starting in Sept, when I will be getting up early.
