Fridays should be okay, I've been before and it's usually only about half full. The place is very large.
Saturdays are a different story, particularly in the summer if there is a major festival or event going on at the Distillery. Four of us tried to go around 6pm for a Saturday dinner during Luminato, and they were so busy they were turning everyone away at the door, telling us to come back in 45 minutes because "the kitchen needed time to catch up". Crazy.
Food is okay but not stellar. Beers are varied and interesting but not all of them are to casual beer drinker's tastes. Like Davwud I'm not a big fan of their coffee porter, I prefer the stuff they have at C'est What.
