Looking for Vegetarian-Friendly Restaurant for Lunch in Ballston Spa or Saratoga

I'm going out to lunch with a friend this week-end. We are both stay at home Moms with two kids each and never get to do stuff like this, so we want someplace fun! I'm a vegetarian and she isn't, so as long as I have a few good choices I'm OK. Since it's supposed to be nice maybe someone knows of a good place with a patio?? We live in Niskayuna so were thinking of heading toward Ballston Spa or Saratoga. Any ideas??

  1. Forno across from Saratoga Hotel. Patio..fun..vegetarian friendly.

    1. Splurge! Go to Mrs London's, get a panini and three desserts. They have a patio and a few tables inside. You can't go wrong with any of their sweets but I highly recommend the St. Tropez Beret. It's very simple and very delicious.

      1. Go to the Whistling Kettle in Ballston Spa. Elegant tearoom, with nice sandwiches and salads, and you can dine on the patio overlooking historic Ballston Spa.

        1. How extravagent do you want to go? Chez Sophie does a nice lunch, with vegetarian options, but it is pretty swanky (Very good food though) Ravenous is also fun. They do Belgian french fries and sweet and savory crepes.

Forno Tuscano has a great patio though.
