Bellevue WA - intimate, romantic

I'm looking for a quiet intimate place in Bellevue to take someone special for a first date. Any recommendations? Has anyone been to Tosoni's?

  1. You could try Andiamo. I can't remember if it's on 108th Ave NE or 110th Ave NE. Also, Bis on Main is really nice. I haven't been in a couple of years and I know they remodeled so I don't know how "intimate" it is... I haven't been to Tosoni's.

Thank you. I've been to Bis for lunch but never dinner. I forgot about Andiamo, which I've heard is great.

    2. I've been to Tosoni's. The food and service are very good--but the atmosphere may be too intimate for a romantic date. The tables are squished in there and the customers don't hesitate to talk between tables. Besides that, there is some humor in the chef coming out in various states of sobriety which may detract from the romantic atmosphere.

I've only been to Andiamo once...experience was such to NOT warrant a return trip.

How about Cafe Juanita? Now that would be a great date. Or, although not in the area, one of the little alcoves at Salish Lodge, overlooking the valley.
