Does anyone know of any yogurt places similar to Pinkberry that have popped up as a result of Pinkberry. Examples in LA are KiwiBerry and Cantaloop. Anyone else know of others?

I love the frozen yogurt made with Strauss at Harmony in San Carlos. It's having a grand opening special next weekend.

I definitely have to agree with Melanie on this - Harmony in San Carlos probably comes pretty darn close. Their yogurt is nice and clean and it has the real yogurt flavor. Try it - this place doesn't have the shaved ice with condense milk but it has the plain yogurt with the various toppings like fruit and granola.

Michelle's in Berkeley on Durant Ave has it - they call it "Mangoberry", I like it better than Pinkberry - not as sweet - and he has all of the standard Pinkberry toppings.

Saw something that will be opening in North Beach called Honeydoo. Corner of Grant & Green. Sounds very similar to Pinkberry.

From Chronicle's food section this week says Honeydoo will be opening August. Other new place is the Yogurt Bar (2760 Octavia St., at Union).

Fraiche Yogurt, Palo Alto - like Pinkberry?
Just read on Yelp..this might be the next Pinkberry or just another copycat...Frozen Yogurt!

There have been a couple if you search from a couple of weeks ago. We went and liked it a lot, but I haven't had Pinkberry so I don't know about how it compares. I almost went again tonight, but decided to be good.

Different than Pinkberry but still good. I like that their plain yogurt is not too sweet, but it didn't have enough yogurt flavor. It seemed like most people like their chocolate flavor instead. Harmony is closer to Pinkberry in flavor but still not the same. Pinkberry is very tart and not as creamy.
