My wife and I are staying at a spa in Calistoga over Thanksgiving, and we don't have anything planned for dinner. Can anyone recommend someplace *nice* up there? We don't know the area at all.

thanks!

Hiya---my husband and I will be in Calistoga for Thanksgiving also. I checked into a couple of restaurants that will be serving turkey with all the trimings... we decided on Pinot Blank, here's the link: http://www.patinagroup.com/index_flash.html you can view the menus here, but need to click on the restaurant name to get to the location website.

The other place we considered was, The Calistoga Inn: http://www.calistogainn.com/
But the meal was more than we are prepared to spend (about $50 pp) But their menu does sound good, and they're Zagat rated!.

Hope this helps!!

Good luck getting out of Pinot Blanc for under $50 per person!! Unless they have a fixed price for Thanksgiving, they are quite pricey.

Having never been there I can't vouch for the food at Stomp in downtown Calistoga. Maybe there are web reviews out there. They do have a special Thanksgiving menu - see link below. They should have openings - I phoned a few days ago to make a reservation for my wife and mother-in-law and they seemed to have several slots available. I hope it's good.
